Prophetess Latisha Carter is married to Bishop Troy Carter and they are the proud parents of Wesley, Nicholas and Micheala Carter. As First Lady to Bishop Carter and the Open Heart Church congregation, First Lady Carter have served faithfully in ministry for over 22 years. Prophetess Carter has served in the church from a young age and continues to do so to this day.

 

Prophetess Carter loves serving her family, church, and community. She is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and minor in Social Worker she then went on to Notre Dame of Maryland University where she received her Master’s Degree in the Art of Teaching.

 

Prophetess Carter currently serves as the Secretary of the Clergy Wives of the WOTCC and the founder of Carter Village and Associates a for profit organization that support families and children. Lady Carter works in the DC Public Schools as Special Education Resource Specialist, and she’s also a researcher and an author. Daily Prophetess Carter strives for Godly excellence in all that she does. Her continued prayer is that Gods righteousness will be found in her.
